DIY Couture Fashion

Hi Gals, How many times have you sighed at the cost of couture pieces, wishing that you could own a one of a kind piece of your own, that only those on vast salaries can ever dream of. So I was thrilled when I discovered this novel idea by designer Berber Soepboer and graphic designer Micheal Schurman and just had to share it with you all! A graphic print dress in a flattering A -line shape, which come with colour fast fabric pens for you to customise your own print! Leaving women wondering which designer created your bespoke dress!! How satisfying, to be able to say, its one of my own creations!

The Best Thing About It Is It's Almost Calorie Free Or Is It?

What did we do in the days before colour? I'm sure it was all very chic, viewing fashion in black and white, but It made me feel a little sad. I had a naughty impulse to give these gals swimsuits a lick of paint, perhaps just a few swirls of a rich blue and yellow, some tiny purple daisys ...

Colour conveys so many emotions and brightens the dullest day, of which we have plenty in the UK! The colour I miss most in the summer is red, it tends to worn mostly in winter. I cheered up when I realised it is still to be found if you look close enough, through out spring and summer in a variety of places!

The best thing about red is saying I love you, on any day of the year!

Join Me For A WARDROBE WORKOUT, dig out those leg warmers!!! X

Spring cleaning your wardrobe's gals? Then todays Wardrobe Workout might come in handy, I have rounded up a few of my favourite wardrobe decluttering ideas. Who could resist the opulence of this purple painted wardrobe? The pearlised finish is what really makes it pop and the velvet footstool, lavender chair and mirrored draws create a droolworthy boudoir!

Next up, what a fabulously chic way to store your prize shoe collection, on a length of painted moulding, just choose your favourite moulding, paint with your favourite colour and make a feature of those shoes, hooking them over the edge of your rail!

What do you buy the girl who has everything a traveling wardrobe of course in faux cocodile skin, how indulgent and divine!

My favourite eco friendly storage solution for shoe's? Biodegradable cardboard shoe boxes, simply attach a photo of your shoes to find the required pair, genuis!

Venices Sister?

Hi there, I'm back from my adventures in Portugal and itching to share my holiday snaps with you all! A subtle shade of nutmeg and about half a stone heavier give or take a churro or two! (Portugese for stuffed doughnut!) It was lovely celebrating Aarons 15th birthday and Easter in beautiful sunny Portugal.I was in a constant state of surprise and delight, dizzy with all the gem's to be found in this gentle place.I never thought I would find anywhere that would equal the architecture, elegance and mystery of Venice, but Portugal should be named Venices sister!

My favourite's thing's? In no particular order, I stumbled across the sweetest, vintage fairground ride, more pictures to follow for vintage fans!Churro's, Portugese doughnut's taste so much better than UK ones, much bigger, fluffier and alot more spices, yum!!! Stork's are protected here and can nest on anything they want! It was such fun seeing these fairy tale creatures, perched on, or next to their huge nests where ever they chose to make them, in the town's we visited.The architecture is a dazzling mix of Moorish, Rococco and Eastern European influences.The Portugese are all about cherishing details. In the larger town's there is a ecclectic mix of contempory design and old. As you can see, I had great fun using my new camera a birthday gift from husband!
