In A Creative Mood? Design A Logo For My Passport to Style & Win A Vintage Necklace/Ends Sunday!

Today I'm jumping for joy and it's all thanks to you lovely lot! So to those of you lovely followers who left me advice on which website name to opt for, for my new company, thank-you!  The name the majority of you liked was My Passport to Style, so that is the name I'm going to be using! xx

Now for the 2nd fun part, I would like to invite you all to come up with a logo or design incorporating the words My Passport to Style, to use on my new website, it could just be the word's, or you could use image's that relate to travel, i.e a passport stamp or luggage ticket or anything really, where ever your creativity takes you!

1) Remember with a logo you need clear crisp lines that will translate onto buisness cards or brochures when made much smaller.

2) My website colours are mainly plum and grey, when designing the logo choose two colours that would be a good compliment to plum.If you have time, do a black and white version first, if it works in black and white it will look good in colour!

3) The deadline is Sunday 11th of July, at 12pm UK time, simply email me your design to sharonstyle@fsmail.net in a large workable file size

 Ok here are a few tinsy details to whet your appetite, it is a heart, it has pinks, aquas and dark blues in it and it is a necklace that is simply scrumptious and you will get noticed wearing it!

Hi Gals, any of you out there with a wedding's to go to soon? Simple styling works best, keep your bust under wraps, with pretty faux wrap styles

                                       

                                             There are nude coloured dresses everywhere right now, but for those wishing to be a little more adventurous in their wedding attire, opt for clean lines and and inject some colour and pattern, save the nudes, for your shoes, guaranteed to give you more than one wear through the summer! Adds inche's to your leg length to boot!  

Finish with a sweet straw bag that shouts country garden inocent, keep jewellery minimal and makeup and hair simple.

If you opt for a vintage dress, don't be afraid of accessorising with modern piece's or piece's from different periods

It Aint Half Hot!

Hi Gals, sorry I'm a little behind with my post's I have had a nasty bug, but am much better now! We are in the middle of heat wave here in the Lancashire and I thought I should celebrate this stunning weather with some divine swimwear from Luna! Alice Though The Looking Glass

Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated by glass and the way it reflects light, from collecting marbles and playing alleys in the school playground to simply finding pleasure in buffing them with a cloth and watching them sparkle. I loved chemistry at school, not because I was good at it, but simply because I loved using the small clear shiny test tube's we put a range of colourful chemicals into.

I adore the poetry and history of glass, the thought that something has been around for such along time, that helps illuminate our home's and our lives. Something that is hard, but so fragile, can be jagged or faceted but when blown often has rounded contours.The sound a glass pane makes, when drop's of rain pit pat on it.  When tree's blow, even if we are inside, we get a sense of the wind, even though we can't see it, we see it's effect. So it is with glass, it helps captures light and reminds us just how beautiful it is.

I loved visiting Venice and the island of Murano glass.

This wonderful material is now used in eco home's, as well as stately home's and come in a huge array of colour's. Chandelier's make me giddy with delight and of course mirror's, well, they are a big part of my job as a Stylist, helping clients uncover their own unique style!

The Taming Of The Shoe

Hi lovely ladies, just had to share this collection of beautiful shoe sketche's from Shoe Dish, not only are the designs inspiring but the execution of the sketches is amazing, today I am applauding all those shoes designers out there big or small, who make it in a very competitive industry! A Non Pink Moment!

I looove pink, but sometimes pink can take over a little, it's a bit like chocolate, we can become a little too addicted thinking that feminine must equal pink, or sweet cravings can only be curbed with chocolate alone, I am very guilty of this one!
