Grandma Chic Anything But Invisible!

I was delighted to come across the pocket size blogger the other day whilst on my bloggi travels, that is Tavi (from Style Rookie.com)  just 13, she is currently being courted by all the big fashion houses out there such as Chanel. I love the fact her latest style, grandmother chic, complete with grey hair! Pokes an eye in the face of what is deemed beautiful today by society, challenging typical steroetypes of woman which proclaim only young or youthful woman are attractive! Her quirky style is such fun and more over, that shade of grey she is currently sporting,  is sooo flattering to English Rose complexions and work perfectly with all the newest pastel shades coming through this spring! Thanks Tavi, divine inspiration for women of all ages!

Vanessa Redgrave, embraces her true colours

Silver and greys look so pretty combined with peaches and apricot pastel shades

I am lusting after this grey and peach chevron bracelet

Keep your pastel confectionary from looking sickly sweet with, utility colours such as greys and a smattering of black.Burberry work this springs trend for pastels perfectly!

Bonjour Sharon,
That little blogger is quite something, grey hair and all. Hope her mom is nearby to keep her feet on the ground.
I'm with you on embracing the natural colour, Vanessa Redgrave is a good example. I'm also for letting the wrinkles run free - perhaps because I'm starting to see a few of my own creep in :) Great post as usual.
Hope you had a great weekend!

I'll be honest, I don't like Tavi, I think it's so wrong, she was all sweet last year but not with this hair... not my cup of tea, she's 13... that's why I love Vanessa , reflecting her age amazingly well, beautiful lady :)
oh btw dear Sharon, I'm more than happy to trade Buttons :) Ill upload it when I go home, sorry it took me so long, with the new design I moved around some things xoxo

I just found your blog and i'm so glad! I just started a fashion blog and I'm a proud 45 yr.old ! I also love Tavi, but hope she doesn't ever loose her young heart. Age is just a number anyway! Like Phoebe said to Joey on Friends, "Some of us have been around a long time. Honey, you're new"! I think I love vintage so much as well as trends is because part of me has been here before, part of me is still new!
Another wonderful gray haired fashion icon is Iris Apfel. I'd like to be like her when I grow up!
